Doctor Who Album

Sat Jul 5, 2008, 12:41 PM
Ive been thinking: what songs fit doctor who. Not ones that have been in it but actually have some link to the Whoniverse

So far, if I made an album the songs would be thus:

1) The Doctor Who Theme (from the TV movie as that theme was the best) - [link]

2) UFO - Doctor Doctor (duh!) - [link] I FINALLY FOUND IT

3) Queen - Who Wants to Live Forever (his regenerations :D) - [link]

4) Anything by Doctorin' the Tardis (not a song called anything... just any song)

5) Sarah Brightman - I lost my heart to a Starship Trooper (Rose and Martha's theme lmfao.... I know it was on Torchwood but I dont care) - [link] (first one I found)

6) Fontella Bass - Rescue Me (for all those helpless souls who find a big blue box) - [link]

7) Led Zepellin - Kashmir (for that one line I am the traveller of both time and space... it just fits)

8) Muse - Starlight (from someone below in the comments I have forgotten the name of... sorry dude)

9) David Bowie - Lovin' The Alien (yeh, loads of his songs work but that one is more obscure... links with some of his companions)

10) Scissor Sisters - Land of a Thousand Words ("another constellation dies" links so well with series 4, which so far is the best... omg DONNA!!!!)

I'm still thinking... can you come up with any *challenges*... please find a youtube link to any songs you find... then all can listen :D

If you saw Torchwood 13... youll understand the mood... thats all im saying... dont look at the comments if you dont want to know what happened... if anyone mentions torchwood that is

OH AND BTW.... check my gallery for a new collection of doctor who related poetry... its probably been done before and none of them are that great but theyre fun :D... fave them all in one go :D
